Skilled Carpenter
A highly skilled carpenter who has grown old was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire.
The employer was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter agreed to this proposal but made sure that this will be his last project. Being in a mood to retire, the carpenter was not paying much attention to building this house. His heart was not in his work. He resorted to poor workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career.

إن النظريات الهندسية المقررة تعتمد على طائفة من البدهيات التى لا ريب فيها ٬ والتمارين الهندسية التى تظهر للطالب وكأنها ألغاز معماة ليست إلا بناء يعتمد فى دعائمه وجوانبه على هذه النظريات المسلمة وقد يعمل الطالب فكره للوصول إلى سرها ويتصبب فى ذلك عر قا.. بيد أنه لن يوفق إلى ذلك إلا إذا كان على معرفة جيدة بالنظريات المقررة وما تستند إليه من بدهيات.. وعلاج الدين لشئون الناس يقوم على هذه المبادئ جميعا.
إن بعض الواهمين عندما يروعهم فساد الحكم وشرور المجتمع فيذهبون إلى الدين يطلبون الحل لما يعانون من أزمات معنتة ٬ ربما توقعوا أن يمدهم الدين ببرامج مفصلة وشروح دقيقة لما يقع ولما يتوقع من طغيان ٬ وما دروا أن الظلام الضارب فى كل أفق يرجع إلى تجاهل وصية بدهية من وصايا الدين ٬ أو الخروج على تعليم واضح من تعاليمه. وإن الأمر لا يتطلب فلسفة ٬ ولا بسط لآراء ٬ ولا ترديدا لمذاهب ٬ مقدار ما يتطلب التقيد التام بما فرضه الدين فى ناحية ما من النواحى التى طرقها.
I came across some great pictures of the holy site of Kaaba in Mecca; everybody who have visited the site aspire to return to it later. Tranquility and peace of mind reside there.
